Tina Filipczyk, PMP, CSM

Tina came to RGS in 1995, intent on leaving the life insurance business, where she worked as an office manager. After interviewing with Richard G. Stieglitz (RGS’s namesake), she learned that the only position available was the receptionist. She took the position – and within one year, she moved on to a Navy contract and was promoted to senior analyst.

Tina continued working as a consultant, senior consultant, manager and now director, working on 15 different contracts and supporting federal, state, and local governments as well as private sector clients. She’s lead multiple and diverse projects within the Navy, Department of Justice, Department of State, Maryland Parks & Planning, and Northern Virginia Banking. She generates excellent results in the areas of project management, knowledge management, IM/IT portfolio management, process improvement, and technology execution.

Tina has contributed to RGS’s growth by cultivating strategic partnerships, mentoring associates, managers and projects teams, and leading corporate initiatives. She has been the recipient of six RGS honors, including the President’s Award, Employee of the Year Award, and four Great Team Awards.

Tina grew up in Miami, Florida (Go Dolphins!) and moved to Virginia during her first year in college. She continued attending college in Northern Virginia earning an Associate’s and then a Bachelor’s degree. While at RGS, she obtained an MBA, a Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification, a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification, and a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification. Tina is married with two children, Cristin and Dana, and enjoys relaxing at her beach properties in Delaware and Florida.
