Suzanne McDonald

Director, DoD HQ Division

Suzanne joined RGS in 2004 and immediately began using her industry experience to expand the RGS Strategy and Operations line of business. Suzanne led the development of RGS’ strategic planning methodology, including communications and performance management offerings, which have been successfully implemented across the RGS corporate client base. Her strengths lie in her facilitation expertise and her ability to bring stakeholder groups to consensus. She approaches organizational challenges with the end in mind: alignment of organizational structure, strategy, and business operations through workforce, communications, and governance.

Suzanne is a Director within RGS’s DoD Division, overseeing projects within the Office of the Secretary of Defense, the Joint Staff, and Military Department Headquarters. Projects in her business unit cover the full range of RGS service offerings including strategic planning, information design, human capital management, business financial management, information technology, and talent management.

Prior to joining RGS, Suzanne worked in the financial and energy industries where she specialized in business process reengineering, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.

Suzanne holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of the South and an MBA from Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management. When not at work, Suzanne enjoys running, hiking, and spending time with her husband and their three children.
