Mike Fogle, PMP
Vice President, DoD Division
Mike joined RGS as an un-recruited walk-on looking to prove he could play with the big boys in 2003. His gritty Excel skills and tenacious PowerPoint jockeying earned him a starting position, and today he oversees all of RGS’s Defense-related business, and preaches a philosophy of providing mission critical solutions to those customers. As most of our projects are delivered to headquarters-level offices, mission criticality comes from creating business value that translates into improved support to the warfighter via cost savings, process improvement, and improved strategic focus. For over 10 years at RGS, he has applied this philosophy in the form of IT portfolio management, budget and financial management, energy strategy, information design, and strategic planning support to headquarters-level defense organizations. In addition to his government consulting experience at RGS, Mike draws upon prior industry experience in educational software and internet services, and technical sales in a product manufacturing business.
Mike is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®), and is a trained (if not skilled) facilitator. He holds a BBA from the University of Michigan where he played football (with his friends in the parking lot before going to Michigan games) and earned his MBA from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business.
In his time away from his adoring RGS family, Mike seizes the days with his beautiful wife and ridiculously energetic sons and lazy dog. He is an avid fan of many sports and occasional participant in the typical yuppie activities of golf, hiking, cycling, and purchasing of outdoor gear that will rarely be put to its intended use.
